A One-Day Conference Devoted to Retinal Degenerative Diseases Research
Eminent scientists from around the world gathered to share their latest research at Hope for Vision’s first Science Meeting, held on March 15, 2013. In a series of brief symposia, researchers described their diverse and exciting areas of research, ranging between stem cell studies, gene therapy via viral vectors, microchips and implants to restore or preserve vision, neuroprotective factors and neuronal degeneration, as well as novel drug therapies.
